I've been practicing law in South Florida since 1993. I handle criminal and family law cases. My goal is to provide excellent legal representation for an affordable price.
About Me
- Lloyd Golburgh, Attorney at Law
- I've been a trial lawyer in Broward for most of the last 17 years handling criminal cases of all types. I also handle family law cases with a focus on resolving marital disputes with fairness and without fighting over small things and jacking up legal fees.

Welcome to my blog.
I'd like to welcome you to my blog. I'm running for Broward County court judge in group 4 for the election scheduled on August 24, 2010. There is a ton of misinformation, inaccurate information, innuendo, and lies out there about the judicial races in Broward. I've learned that politics is alive and well in our county. The purpose of this blog is to allow you to ask whatever questions you have of me so that you can decide for yourself if you think I should get your vote. I am interested only in mature constructive comments, questions, and commentary. Impolite, immature, inappropriate, or hostile behavior will be moderated and deleted. With that said, ask away.

How old are you and where did you attend law school?
ReplyDeleteI am 43 years old and graduated from the University of Florida in 1990 with a bachelor of science degree in Telecommunication/broadcast production. I then got my JD from the University of Miami in 1993.
ReplyDeleteHow long have you lived in Broward County?
ReplyDeleteI've been a Broward county resident since 1998 when I moved from Miami Dade to Cooper City. But I started working in the Broward County court house a few years before that.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to reach out to the people.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'll give it a try. Bye the way, although it isn't necessary, I encourage people to use their real names. I believe it adds to the credibility of the comment.
ReplyDeleteHi Mr. Golburgh. This might sound like a cliche, but why do you want to run for judge? Thanks, D Scott
ReplyDeleteHello D Scott. Thanks for asking. I've been a trial lawyer for a long time. I've always been motivated to continue to grow professionally and have always thought about becoming a judge one day. It appeals to me because it's a respected position and because, as a judge, I can have a positive affect on the lives of others.
